POSITION: SALES/MARKETING MANAGER

The Madison Design Group, a Bethesda-based graphic design and marketing firm, seeks a motivated sales-professional with previous experience marketing creative services to high-end clients.

QUALIFICATIONS
· Demonstrated knowledge of creative services and an ability to learn and communicate our core services.
· Adapt to, and quickly learn, new technologies and products.
· Ability to identify potential avenues for new business development, including cold calling, through referral channels to generate appointments and establish relationships.
· Be proactive at gathering relevant client information and developing strategies to best leverage Madison's services.
· Effectively communicate with our clients and staff.
· Interface appropriately with our estimating personnel in order to help establish appropriate job pricing.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet goals with little supervision.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· 4+ years of related experience in an advertising agency or design firm. Bachelor's degree preferred, however a proven track record would suffice.

POSITION: ART DIRECTOR

We are seeking an inspiring Art Director who will contribute to our strategic vision and who is capable of leading a small highly motivated and exceptional design staff. The core duties of the Art Director are to provide creative and strategic direction for a broad range of web, interactive and print projects. Duties include managing multiple projects in a fast-pace environment. The ideal candidate should possess excellent people skills, a sense of humor, an eye for detail and the ability to remain calm in a crisis.

QUALIFICATIONS
· 2+ years history of strong leadership/management within a design environment
· 6+ years of experience in the design industry with some agency experience preferred.
· Bachelors degree in Design or related field required
· Experience working with Dreamweaver and the Adobe Creative Suite.
